Blue River Services Mission

To assist people with disabilities in realizing maximum personal growth and development in home, work and community by providing a continuum of individualized services and supports in settings least restrictive for the needs of the individual.

As an adjunct to these services, whenever possible, Blue River Services, Inc., will serve the similar needs of the general community by providing services in nonsegregated, community based settings which emphasize the integrated inclusion of people with disabilities into all areas of life which are enjoyed by members of the community.

Blue River Services Endowment Fund

Harrison County community Foundation provides 2:1 match to the Blue River Services Endowment fund

Make a Contribution

If you would like to provide your gift by check instead of by debit or credit card, please send your gift reference the Blue River Services Endowment Fund to the HCCF at P.O. In 2000, the Harrison County Community Foundation (HCCF) awarded $19,090 to Blue River Services (BRS) after the agency successful raised $9,545 in donations for their BRS Endowment Fund. The combined efforts of the HCCF and BRS donors raised a total of $28,635 for the Endowment. Get Involved: Support Your Local Non-Profit

Donations:

Blue River Services offers community members the opportunity to grow and thrive in so many ways. From early childhood education, youth in crisis and babies with developmental delays, to group homes and work opportunities for adults with disabilities and housing for low-income families, women fleeing domestic violence and seniors who need a safe, supportive environment to age in place, we encourage organizations and individuals to support a program or service, or start an annual giving campaign. All donations support the mission of Blue River Services to help further the independence of people with disabilities, as well as the general public, through programs and services designed to meet the unique and individualized needs of each recipient.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Volunteers are needed for many facility improvement and grounds beautification projects at agency properties. Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, youth groups and other organizations looking for community service projects will find many opportunities to learn skills and values at Blue River Services. Blue River Services volunteers also may assist with fundraisers and special events, including county fairs and the annual Golf Scramble. Volunteer opportunities for special events will be posted on the agency website.
