Second Annual Blue River Services Job Fair
Now the 14th largest non-profit in the Louisville metropolitan area, Blue River Services, Inc. held its second annual job fair in hopes of recruiting even more caring individuals to help further its mission. The October 19 event drew dozens of applicants to the community room at the Harrison County Community Foundation in Corydon, where interviews were conducted on the spot.
“The job fair was a big success,” said Bonnie Woertz, Human Resources Director who organized the event. “We had several participants who are in the process of filling positions as a result.”
Blue River Services’ mission is to further the independence of people with disabilities and, when appropriate, the general public. In sight of this goal, the agency annually serves more than 22,000 people in 32 Indiana counties.
