Blue River Services Prom A Night to Remember

Surrounded by pastel hues of blue, pink, green and yellow, adults with disabilities and their guests danced the night away October 1 at Southern Hills Church in Salem, Indiana. More than 100 guests attended this year’s Blue River Services, Inc. Prom – a record turnout for the annual event.

Now in its ninth year, the prom organized by Blue River Services staff and volunteers inspired a night to remember with a Kentucky Derby theme. But instead and red rose garlands, attendees anxiously awaited another type adornment.

During the Royal Court ceremony, the most coveted titles of King and Queen went to Patrick James and Carol Stocking, respectively, who both participate in Blue River Services’ group habilitation at the Washington

Thanks to the generosity of the Harrison County Community Foundation and the individuals and businesses in the community we have raised $95,000 for our Capital Campaign.  Blue River Services, Inc. would truly appreciate your gift or pledge to support our $100,000 capital campaign to obtain the $100,000 Challenge Grant from the Paul Ogle Foundation.
